Clare Pettigrew MCSP
Having qualified with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Physiotherapy from the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen in 1998 I undertook my Junior and Senior rotations within the Edinburgh and central belt regions. Upon deciding to specialise in Out-Patient's and Sports Injuries I worked extensively within the North East of Scotland over the next few years.
Whilst part of the team at the Liz McColgan Health Club & Physiotherapy Centre I enjoyed working with regional sports teams and elite athletes prior to developing a Sports Injury Clinic within Dundee Football Club in 2003.
Since establishing Physiotherapy Scotland in 2005 I have continued to work with Regional and National Sports Teams and the Scottish Institute of Sport. Last year this included accompanying the Scottish Women's Hockey Squad to South Africa and travelling to the USA with the Men's Curling Squad in April when they returned triumphant with the World Champion winning Gold Medal.
I am currently the physiotherapist for the Caledonian Cougars who form part of the Super 6 Olympic Selection League and have a special interest in manual therapy and biomechanics.
